A short explanation of what this site stores.
Email lists
If you sign up, we store your email address, signup time and the wording you agreed to. Match reviews and stories have a separate list from merchandise news. Signing up to one does not add you to the other. Email sending is not yet connected; the forms currently collect interest for future updates.
Use the unsubscribe link provided after signing up to remove your entry. You can also contact hello@thedailypeacock.com about your information.
Polls and saved stories
Poll choices are stored against a hashed identifier for a signed-in reader, or a random browser identifier held in a cookie for signed-out readers. Public results contain totals and percentages, not voter identities. Saved stories stay in your browser’s local storage.
Football information and external sites
Fixtures, standings and club badges are supplied by football-data.org. Following an external link takes you to another website with its own privacy practices. The Daily Peacock is an independent fan site.
